As a substitute for our written English exam (Engslisch Klausur Ersatzleistung) we have made a website about India. The goal of our website is to collect all presentations, videos and projects made about India in our class. We already have collected some presentations, but we will continue to update this website with new presentations of our class. The navigation of our website is really easy.

We have a forum for betterment suggestions or to post your own article.

Then we have a selection of important and useful links, furthermore we have a section where we have collected news like new presentations or exam dates and topics.

 And of course we have a collection of the presentations, videos, texts, handouts, etc. We have organized them in topics like social problems in India, India-Pakistan, Mahatma Ghandi, social conflicts etc.

There are four reasons why we think that this website is very useful:

-         The first reason is that India is one of the main topics for our central and final high school exams (Zentralabitur). So the website can be a very good help to prepare for these exams.

-         The second reason is that a website is much better than normal Hand outs. Hand outs could get lost or sometimes presentations even don’t have enough hand outs for everybody. On our website you have always a collection of all handouts.

-         The third reason is that you can reach our website every time and at every place. This makes learning much easier and you are more flexible.

-         The last reason is that with our website you don’t just have the handouts or the videos, we have more interesting facts, links and news to the topics.

Our Englisch Klausur Ersatzleistung is a long-term work because we will not just collect the old presentations, furthermore we will post and collect all presentations about India in the future as well. Because one person could not manage the work alone, we have split the work. Anna-Maria is responsible for collecting the presentations and Alexander Le Prince as well as Alexander Nawrot are responsible for building the website, administer the website, post presentations and searching for additional websites or facts to each topic.
